It's not until you're on the inside looking out, when you realize there are no words to explain it. Alpha Lambda Sigma Sorority Why pledge? The answer to this question deserves deep thought. Rush can be among the most confusing times for a college student. The process can be very complicated and overwhelming. It remains a process that seeks to introduce you to sororities on campus. Here at Pace University freshman are only permitted to Rush their second semester. First semester, the Fall semester, is restricted to upperclassman.

I didn't pay enough... Alpha Lambda Sigma Sorority Why pledge ALS? That is the same question for which every Alpha Lambda Sigma Sister has inevitably found an answer. Every sorority on campus can provide you with social events and some new friends. But Alpha Lambda Sigma always has been, and always will be an organization unlike no other. We are not like a typical sorority nor do we wish to ever be like one. Alpha Lambda Sigma is dedicated to the propagation of school spirit through sisterhood. We encourage academic achievement and stimulate intellectual ability, integrity, and physical growth. We support open and unrestricted rush in order to make the process of meeting and developing friendships as natural as possible. The experiences as a pledge are incredible and unforgettable. Pledging is where the sisterhood is created; where you learn about yourself, your pledge sisters, and Alpha Lambda Sigma. It is in pledging where you learn and respect our letters, principles, and one another. It is a process that brings us all together. Pledging is what separates regular student groups from a sorority. It is here where bonds are created where we become sisters. Your moments as a pledge can be the most exciting and challenging times in your college experience.
