Pediatric AIDS
Pedicatric AIDS is a problem that researchers are devoted to. It has been estimated that by the year 2000 there will be 5 to 10 million children who will be infected with the HIV virus and another 10 million children orphaned by the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
HIV infection ranks seventh among the leading causes of death for U.S. children 1 to 14 years of age. In many cities in the northeastern United States, HIV disease is the leading cause of death among children ages 2 to 5.
Each year our sorority hosts a talent show called "Almost Anything Goes". Greeks and other organizations and students participate in the show. The acts vary from singing to dancing and short skits. All proceeds from the show are donated to the Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
