  • Merchandise
    • Interested in purchasing AKD merchandise? Check out our merchandise page! Please be sure to place orders through your Chapter Representative
  • Student Travel Funding
    • Would you like to present your sociology research at a regional conference? We offer funding to students who are AKD members. Check out our funding subpage. Be sure to have your Chapter Representative fill out and submit the application
  • Student Paper Competition
    • Each year Alpha Kappa Delta sponsors an undergraduate and graduate student paper competition. See our subpage for more details. The deadline for submissions to the competition is February 1, 2010. 
  • Sociological Inquiry (online access)
    • Have you not received your journal yet? This could be due to a few reasons:
      • Journals are sent out quarterly. You will not receive your journal as soon as you become a member, rather during the cover months of the journal
      • You may not be activated to receive your free year of Sociological Inquiry. You must fill out an Activation Form to receive your free year of SI
      • To keep receiving SI, you must be an active member. To stay an active member, please fill out the Renewal Form and attach payment.
        • Note: Both the Activation Form and Renewal Form can be found at the bottom of this site
  • Opportunities for Students
    • We would like to share with its members certain opportunities outside of AKD.  Often times, these announcements will provide students with scholarships or funding. 
  • Careers in Sociology
    • Ever wonder to yourself, "What am I going to do with my degree in sociology?"  This subpage can help alleviate your anxieties!
