Sociological Inquiry When you are initiated you become a lifetime member of Alpha Kappa Delta, the International Sociology Honor Society. Payment of the initiation fee entitles you to become an active member and receive a one-year subscription to Sociological Inquiry, the official journal of the Society. After the first year, you may remain active by renewing your subscription to Sociological Inquiry.
To be an active member and claim your one-year subscription, you MUST return the Activation Form. Carefully type or print your full name and permanent mailing address. Please notify the AKD office of name, address, and e-mail changes. Journal issues are not forwarded. Incorrect addresses increase mailing costs. New subscriptions will be entered at the beginning of the next volume-year. Please note that the journal is sent out quarterly. Have you not received your journal yet? SI EDITOR INTERVIEWS
Sociological Inquiry has transitioned from the previous editor Steve Kroll-Smith, to the newly elected editor Sampson Lee Blair, whose first issue began in 2010. With the change of hands in the editor position, we decided to ask the out-going and in-coming editors a few questions about their experience and ideas while Editor of Sociological Inquiry.
Brittany Fialkovic, a recent graduate from Le Moyne College with a Bachelors in Sociology, was in charge of drafting the questions and conducting the interviews with Steve Kroll-Smith and Sampson Lee Blair.
