Greetings from the new national office.  On September 15, 2008 we officially opened for business.  This followed many months of working with former Secretary-Treasurer Marc Matre to bring the national office of AKD from Mobile, Alabama to Syracuse, New York.  Thanks to Dr. Matre for working tirelessly to show us how things worked and to ease the transition.

In the past, the Secretary-Treasurer would send out a fall mailing to all chapter representatives with information from the national office.  In part because the learning curve has been steep and in part because we hoped to move from paper to electronic communication, this mailing was not sent out.  For those of you who have been waiting for this mailing, we apologize for the delay.  It required the kind of time provided by a break between semesters for us to get this webpage up.  We hope that the long-term benefits of moving to electronic communication will be beneficial both immediately and over the long-term.
