Use the following link for information about obtaining an EIN for your chapter as well as how to file the new IRS 990-N e-Postcard requirement: How to Apply for Employer Identification Number & File IRS Form 990-N
Please also note that chapters should not file their 990-N e-Postcards until further notice from the AKD National Office.
990-N e-Postcard Update 7/1/09: We are still attempting to collect EINs from all chapters. If you have not yet applied for your EIN and sent it to our office, please do so immediately. Once we receive all necessary information, our next step is to apply for a group ruling with the IRS. After we accomplish this, we will be alerting chapters to file their e-Postcards for 2008 and 2009.
