Industry :: Social Services Services :: Website Design & Programming / Content Administration / Social Media Marketing Description :: Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania, located near Philadelphia, wanted a website with extraordinary breadth and depth...and one that they could largely administer and update themselves once it was launched. Tower responded with a site that is designed to communicate with its many and varied constituencies - girls, families, volunteers - keeping them informed and engaged on a wide variety of levels from cookie sales and calendars of upcoming events to camp registration, membership, scholarship, awards, product sales and much more. The site features a robust and sophisticated content management system of diverse use that is yet easy-to-use by a team of multiple administrators. An important addition to the new site was the development of a search and find function that enables visitors to navigate the wide ranging content quickly and easily. A key part of the agency’s strategy was also to create a graphic identity unique to the Eastern Pennsylvania regional headquarters but still within the mission and context of the national Girl Scouts organization.
