I decided to collect my gaming links in one place instead of multiple. Resources for Role Playing Games Pineapple Humor MMO Evony: This game is currently at Age II. Its a different version that Age I. I do not care for it anymore. It appeals more to power gamers as far as I can tell. It is not generally a friendly place, from my experience, for new players. I recommend Illyriad as a better option. Evony Beginner's Guide Illyriad: This is a tactical fantasy game. Players have cities and build resources and other buildings. It is more complicated than Evony, but much friendlier. Its been my experience that most players are helpful. The environment does not require the same level of paranoia or stress as Evony. Alliances are much the same. Using chat does not cost. Just posting that one is new may result in free resources being sent. Its recommended that new players do not beg for resources nor be rude in other ways. Chat topics, both in Global Chat and Alliance Chat, vary, and its recommended that the easily offended do not expect special treatment. There are rules for chat, but gamers are always gamers. (Please note, the link for this will note when people join and will award me 50 prestige should the new player earn 100 population. Since I get something from it, I figured I would own up to it.) Lord of Ultima: Similar to Evony, and Illyriad, it has some definite differences. |
