| This is the new ship everyone has been talking about! Every guest that I have booked on this ship has returned with five star reviews. The celebrity Solstice is the first of a new class of vessel and Celebrity has Celebrity has truly hit it out of the park with this beautiful ship. In many cases, a cruise line's "new class" often means just a larger, or slightly tweaked, version of a previous design. At 122,000 tons, Solstice has the size credentials, being the largest Celebrity ship ever launched, but there's much more to this vessel.
Solstice has one of the best interior architecture designs we've ever seen, and passenger flow is excellent. Solstice is an extremely easy ship to navigate, even for first-time cruisers. Everything is clustered: all the entertainment is forward; the food is aft; and casino, reception desks and shops are in the middle. Even the specialty restaurants are all clustered on a single deck (Deck 5). Perhaps the most unique feature of this ship is a full half-acre of lush living grass. Called the Lawn Club, this area features bocce courts, a putting course and the Hot Glass Show, where passengers can delight in seeing the creation of complex works of glass art from basic raw materials to the finished objects. The caliber of the food and serivce aboard the Solstice is second to none. With so many lines cutting back on service and little extras, you will find that aboard the Solstice, service and appointments will be as you expect that cruising should be. Elegance, sophistication and convenience make this ship a must for your future cruise vacation plans. And the prices we have for this fabulous sailing on the Solstice are lower than other seven day cruises on older ships. We hope that you can sail her with us in May! San Juan Puerto Rico is a big city with a bustling business district, glitzy resorts and casinos, as well as one of the most stunning examples of colonial life in the Western world. While in San Juan don't miss the opportunity to witness the pinnacle of natural beauty by exploring Puerto Rico's El Yunque Rain Forest. It features more than 240 species of trees, hundreds of miniature orchids, and what was once believed to be the Fountain of Youth. See Baño Grande, a natural swimming pool. Then take a walk on Camitillo Trail and look for the artificial nest of the Puerto Rican parrot and the flora and fauna of the Palo Colorado forest. Explore Old San Juan, the second-oldest European settlement in the New World. Ride to San Felipe El Morro, the most dramatic of all the city's military fortifications. Visit the Casa Blanca Museum & Gardens, the Ballaja Barracks, Quincentennial Square, San Jose Church, San Juan Cathedral, and Cristo Chapel. Whether you choose to spend your time sightseeing, shopping, trying your l;uck in the casino or just lounging on a beautiful sandy beach, San Juan has it all!
StThomas This world-renowned Caribbean island is home to amazing beaches, gorgeous sea and landscapes and unbelievable duty-free shopping. While the beaches and ocean are beautiful, there is one thing that really sets St. Thomas apart - shopping. Browse through the shop-lined streets of Charlotte Amalie and find out why St. Thomas is called the "duty-free shopping capital of the world." Shop for duty-free trinkets and bargains on everything from liquor to imported china and crystal. Visitors can bring home $1,200 in merchandise without paying duty - twice the limit of most of the Caribbean. Shopping not your thing. How about enjoying some history of the Island. In the 18th century, the island was at the center of a bustling pirate culture, as swashbuckling pirates such as Blackbeard and Drake traded stolen wares in the port of Charlotte Amalie. Visit Blackbeards Castle and Drakes Seat, or Take a ride on Skyline Drive and enjoy a breathtaking view of St. Thomas Harbor. Then travel to Mountain Top, the highest point on St. Thomas, and see spectacular views of Magens Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world
