REPENTANCE- Turning away from sin
We must call sin what God calls sin and repent. Our problems do not arise from what
was done to us, but from our wrong responses to those things. We must take personal
responsibility for our actions and attitudes.
Remember that Romans 6:23 "the wages of sin is death".
Jesus came to forgive our sins, and through the power of the Cross, He made sin powerless in our lives.
We are no longer bound by sin provided we turn away from sin which is to repent.
Repentance releases the power of God in our lives.
Short Prayer:
Father, please forgive me seeking Your hand and not Your face.
Forgive me for idolatry, for not loving Your first with all my heart.
I repent of all pride and I humble myself under Your mighty hand.
I ask You to release Your grace in my life as You conform me to Your
image. In Jesus' name, Amen. |
