A series of basins collect and channel rainfall into the planters. But this design has the least in common with the rest of the house, which the owners call a "schizophrenic" design. Inside the house, walking upstairs into the kitchen is like climbing into the trees outside. |

Picked it up after a hiatus. Added a circular planter and then it seemed to start growing finally. So much for ortho world... (sigh) I guess I'm not an ortho girl.  |

 Pplacing planters / bannisters. This is a project which I'm designing in Cad rather than by hand. I'm trying to bring the garden to the house and vice versa, through planters, terraced steps.... but at this point I'm really heaving sighs. I've really neglected the elevation. Thinking about Frank Gehry: "the computer should be used to capture the curve..." |
