TRY-OUT INFORMATION ------------------------------>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> We will be forming a u17 team to compete in the MSPSL and a u19 team to compete in GVSA. Please make note of the try-out information and winter calendar of events listed to the right. If you know of high school aged players u15-u19 who might be interested in playing on our team, please forward this information on to them. Over the next five (5) months, we will be training regularly in order to prepare for the spring season. In addition, we will be attending three college showcase events in order to better prepare for the college recruitment process. These competitions are open to all players. Winter College Showcase Details #1 Players need not be part of our Spring team to take part in the Winter College Showcase. So, feel free to pass this on to other players on your high school team or former clubs. #2 Because we are traveling to the three events with 13-15 players, you can plan for your son to attend 0-3 of the events. Once the teams are set after try-outs, we will send out a player availability survey. If we are short players, we will invite boys from other clubs. For those interested in playing Super Y League Next summer here is information on the upcoming try-outs. Additional Winter College Showcase Details Roster We will travel to each of these events with 13-15 players. Players will be selected for each event in December 2009. All rostered players will be guaranteed at least 50% playing time in each game. Our primary goal at these events will be showcasing each players talent. Team results are therefore secondary. If there is enough interest, we may take two teams to compete in the Ohio events. Transportation Transportation costs are not included in the above fees. We will rent vans or a bus for the Cleveland and Cincinnati events. Costs of the rental van/bus will be split among passengers. Volunteers At each event, I will be asking for two (2) parent volunteers to help with transportation, hotel chaperone, and video taping. Hotels When traveling, players will be assigned a roommate in double occupancy rooms. Cost of rooms and manner of collection will be set closer to each event.
