The National Alliance of Children's Trust and Prevention Funds has developed the new curriculum, "Bringing The Protective Factors Framework to Life In Your Work - A Resource for Action," and is making this rich resource available to you free of charge on the Alliance website. It can be used to enhance, expand or supplement whatever you may already have in place to train parents and practitioners about implementing the Protective Factors framework. Your feedback is valuable as the development team refines the curriculum and works with Children's Trust Funds and their systems partners across the country to make the tool as useful and user-friendly as possible. If you are interested in being part of the piloting group, this page will contain documents, posts and updates that will help facilitate the piloting process. The document, "Online Pilot Guidance" contains a link where you may self-enroll as a member of the Pilot Distribution List. When you do this, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to proceed. You may participate in any course that is in the piloting review phase by adding your name to the list through the enrollment link. Pilot Group Feedback Call - January 9, 2012
There were 39 attendees on the call today and lots of discussion and feedback from participants. We are still experiencing difficulties with certain elements of the navigation and continue to work on these problems. Where the online platform does not give us any options to address your concerns, we are thinking through the process comprehensively and seeking to create the best guidance for these issues that we can. We continue to incorporate your ideas -- so keep them coming. You may always email infopilot@ctfalliance.org with any questions, concerns or suggestions.
We would like your feedback about the effectiveness of the PSA currently found in the "Concrete Support" course (some of today's discussion on this topic may be found in the notes section of Slide #19 - Ppt. notes). Pilot Group Feedback Call - December 5, 2011
We were very pleased to have an overflow group of participants on the call today! Thank you for your input. We chose to use GoToMeeting because it allows for a more natural "conversational" kind of call. However, it only accommodates 25 people. That caused us problems today -- and so we will plan to use GoToWebinar for our next call on December 18, 2011. Call-in and log-in information for that call will be posted soon.
