Religion

Monday:  13-3:  Review sign language for the song, “I am special.”  Sing, “If You’re Happy and You Know It.”  Discuss different sounds while singing.  Play, “Good Morning.”  Prayer.  Blessing.

Tuesday:  14-1  I Can Hear:  Act out, “This IS the Circle That Is My Head.”  Review the five senses.  Discuss things we enjoy and don’t enjoy smelling.  Play a smelling game. 

Wednesday:  14-2:  Sing, “Here Is the Way We Walk to Church.”  Review the smelling game.  Discuss items that are not foods that have different smells.  Read, “Good Scents.”  Discuss scents found in churches.  Scripture prayer.    

Thursday:  14-3:  Color and smell activity.  Discuss smelling for our protection.  Prayer and blessing. 

Friday:  Review mass

 

Phonics:

Monday:  Phonics workbook, page 23.  Choose correct short a word.

Tuesday:  Workbook page 24.  Read sentences.  Short a words and color words.

Wednesday:  Workbook page 25.  Yes and no.  Read sentences.  Color words.

Thursday:  Workbook page 26.  Write short a words.

Friday:  Workbook page 27.  Introduce short I words. 

 

Math:  This is subject to change depending on how well students remember how to tell time.  We may be reviewing and practicing telling time more this week before we begin money.

Wednesday:  7-8:  Dime

Thursday:  7-9:  Problem Solving

Friday:  Chapter 7 assessment.
