Hobo Dinner, Hot off the Grill
Peninsula State Park, Door County, Wisconsin This is one of our favorite meals when we are camping. Just wrap chicken (or another meat) and assorted fresh vegetables - corn on the cob, potatoes, onions, carrots, celery, whatever - topped with salt, pepper and a dab of butter. Wrap this securely in heavy duty foil - we use two layers. Place foil wrapped dinner on the grill over a hot fire, or just lay it on the burning coals, and cook 'till done. If the fire is hot, it only takes 25 to 30 minutes. The "Hobo Dinner" simmers over the open fire in it's own juices, blending all the delectable flavors of the veggies and meat. You can't eat any better than this!

I love corn on the cob. I really like the way Sean grills the corn. We wrap the freshly husked cobs in foil. With the cobs, we include a pat of butter and a sprinkle of salt. It cooks up just delicious.
