● Program Outline

I.  GENERAL 概述 
    
    Artists will come to China and conduct woodfiring in three cities: Beijing, Fuping,and Yangshuo in May/June, 2009 for about 4 weeks.
 
    Artists will arrive to Beijing on or before May 21, 2009, and stay in Beijing for 3 days to do some work, then fly to Xian and stay in Fuping for 9 days to do clay work.  Then, on waiting for the drying of the pieces, all people will fly to Guilin and Yangshuo to visit a woodfiring factory and the under-constructed Yangshuo HAP Pottery and do some work or seightseeing.

    Some artists will then fly back to Fuping or Beijing, or stay in Yangshuo, and start to fire all works. Four or Five days are allowed to finish the firing.  
 
    There will be an opening in Xian on June 13.  After then all artists and most works will go to Beijing on June 14. Installation will be done on the 14th and 15th.  Exhibition will be opened on 16th.  All artists will return to their home on the 17th.
 

 
 
    受邀陶艺家将于2009年5-6月间在中国三个城市(北京、富平、阳朔)参加为期四周的《柴烧遍中国》创作活动。

    艺术家先到达北京,在乐陶苑创作,并游览北京;三天后赴西安富平创作9天。在等待作品干燥时去桂林、阳朔参观柴窑及建设中的乐陶苑,并观光游览及创作3天。

    然后,所有人返回富平或北京(一些人或留在阳朔)进行柴烧及冷却工作5天,然后将烧成多数作品于13日在西安展出。随后,大部分作品将带去北京,6月14、15日在北京布展,16日在北京798艺术园区XYZ画廊举行展览开幕式。所有艺术家于17日返回原住地。

III. LIVING COST 生活费用

    All artists will pay their own international travel fare and local airfare (about 3000-5000 rmb, equivalent to about US$ 500-700 depending on discount obtained).
    Local sponsor will cover lodging, it is possible two persons will share a room.
Food will also be coverd by sponsors.
    All other expenses and sightseeing tickets will be paid by artists.

    艺术家自付国内外旅费(国内约3000-5000人民币)。各地接待单位将解决食宿问题,可能两人拼房。其他费用皆自付。
 
IV. SALE & BENEFIT 销售及利益
    
    
All art works sent to Beijing XYZ Art Gallery are subjected to sell. The income will be split according to following shares: 
    - Artist 40%, 
    - Gallery 40% 
    - Sponsor 20%
    Every artist will receive one copy of printed electronic Catalog for free (more copies can be printed at cost).  A disc copy of the electronic Catalog will be provided to each artist.  Chinese Potters Newsletter will report the event in detail, with at least 10 pages coverage in the Autumn issue of 2009.

    - 画廊40%
    - 各地协办单位20%

    画册为电子版,陶艺家各获一册(可付费多印),并另获一电子版画册光碟。《陶艺家通讯》2009年秋季号上将有10页详细报道。
