A non-conventional but easy way to make Naans at home.
Ingredients: Makes 8 Naans
- 1can of Pillsbury Grands Flaky or classic biscuit.
- Dried Mint leaf flakes.
- All purpose flour.
- Clarified butter (desi ghee) or butter.
Method:- Separate each biscuit.
- Lightly dust the surface on which you will roll the naan with all purpose flour.
- Using a rolling pin, roll out each biscuit.Put the flattened biscuit on a heated pan, sprinkle mint flakes. Cook till this side becomes slightly golden brown.
- Turn over the biscuit and cook the other side, adding mint flakes on this side too.
- To add the smoky smell, heat the naan (using a pair of tongs) directly on the flame for a very very short time, just so that you get the smell.
- Smear a little butter or ghee on Naan and serve hot with a curry of your choice.
Tip: Instead of mint you may use any other dried herb of your choice.
