Ingredients:
- 2 cups water
- ½ cup milk
- Crushed 2-3 green cardamoms
- About an inch thick and long ginger
piece (peeled and grated)
- Sugar
- 2 tsps Tea leaves
Method:
- Bring water and milk to a boil.
- Add crushed cardamoms and grated
ginger. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- Add tea leaves; simmer for another
1-2 minutes on a low flame.
- Turn off the flame, cover the chai
and let stand for a minute for the aromas and flavors to seep.
- Strain, add sugar and mix and the
Indian tea is ready.
