"American history is longer, larger, more various, more beautiful, and more terrible than anything anyone has ever said about it."  --James Baldwin, American author

American Studies is a standard level 11th grade course that examines the United States from 1865 to the modern era, using a constitutional focus.  Students will achieve a more complete understanding of the U.S. Constitution and who we are as a nation.

Junior IB History of the Americas is the first year in the IB History (HL) program, and it focuses on the history of the Americas before 1900.  The class studies and compares the actions of several nations with a particular emphasis on the United States.
