1. Getting started

 You need only one SD card which is formatted to FAT partition. Usually all new SD cards are already formatted to FAT partition. Make sure the SD card is empty and it does not contain any files or folders.



 Download the latest update file to your PC and follow the instructions below to update your PAD.

IMPORTANT!! update packages has been removed from this site, because of too many wrong use with other A-Link PAD2 and PAD3G models. Please note that PAD update packages are not compatible with PAD2 or PAD3G. You can request update packages for A-Link PAD directly from techsupport@a-link.com

DOWNLOAD

-> Lite Edition 4.3 (Released 19.8.2010)
-> Lite Edition 5.0 (Released 29.8.2010)

-> Lite Edition 5.0_adhoc (beta version to use with JoikuSpot Premium)
     - Change JoikuSpot SSID to "JoikuSpot_adhocpad" on your phone
     - Enable PAD's WiFi, connection will be established automatically

NOTE!! Lite Edition is made for A-LINK PAD only. Use it for any other purposes or any other hardware is forbidden. Full support and warranty when using this Lite Edition is granted only for A-LINK PAD. A-LINK do not take any responsibility of any issues occurred on any use of this Lite Edition in any other platform or environment than A-LINK PAD.


1. Unzip the downloaded file to your PC.
2. Copy the /script folder to your empty SD card root
    (SD card root should contain only /script folder).
3. Turn off your PAD and insert SD card (keep the charger plugged in during update).
4. Turn on your PAD and wait until update finished.
5. When "Please remove the SD card" are shown on PAD screen,
    remove the SD card and wait for a PAD to turn off power.
6. Turn on PAD and that's it, now you are running Lite version of A-LINK PAD.

First boot up after update will take long time. After Android is running, please make some Fine Tuning first before use.
