Tuition & Fees, 2011-2012

Tuition & Payment Policy 2011-2012

Application Fee:

A non-refundable of $50.00 is due for all new applicants at the time of the application.

Materials Fee:

A materials fee of $350.00 to cover the cost of consumable books, paper, other materials, and copy expenses is due as a down payment.

 

Annual tuition rates for the 2011-2012 school year are as follows:

Down payment:

The book and material fee for each enrolled child must be paid in advance as a down payment in order to keep your child’s space in the Academy. This payment is due by June 3rd, 2011 for current students and upon acceptance to the academy by new students.

Payment options:

* Lump sum: Tuition is due in full by August 26, 2011 and an 8% tuition discount is applied.

* Bi-annual: Half of total tuition is due by August 26, 2011; second half is due by January 3rd, 2011.

* Installment: The total tuition due will be divided into nine equal installments. Each installment is due by the first day of each month from August 1 , 2011 through April 1 , 2012; all payments will be received no later than April 1, 2012.

Payment methods:

Payments are to be made by check, money order, credit cards. Please make all payments in the school office during regular school hours. Make checks payable to Al-Ihsan Academy.

Late fees:

Tuition is due on the first day of each month. There is a one week grace period; thereafter, a late fee of $25 will be charged for late payments received after the grace period. Checks returned for lack of funds by the bank will be charged a $25 service fee and must be replaced within 5 working days. Personal checks will not be accepted thereafter for the remaining balance due. Payments will need to be made in cash, money order or cashier’s check.

Withdrawal from school/tuition refund policy:

If a parent decides to withdraw a student from the school for any reason 60 days or later after enrolling the student, payment in full is due up to the date of withdrawal and 50 % of the remaining tuition balance from the date of withdrawal to the end of the year is still owed to the school. There are no tuition refunds, but if a student withdraws prior to 60 days from the beginning of the school year, the parent is only obligated for the tuition due for the number of days the child was enrolled in school. There is no refund for the registration or materials fees.
