Positions Available for the 2011-2012 Academic Year

We are looking for well qualified, competent, energetic, goal oriented and professional individuals who would like to join an outstanding team of educators dedicated to guiding tomorrow’s Muslim leaders.

Al-Ihsan Academy, a K-8 Islamic school, is soliciting resumes and cover letters from qualified Muslim educators for full and part time positions for the 2011-2012 academic year.

Our quality educational program incorporates emphases on Islamic tenets and other skills, knowledge and aptitudes critical to students’ life success: Michigan core curricula (English/Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies), 21^st century learning objectives as well as outstanding Islamic studies, Quran and Arabic curricula.

Our educators are expected to be highly qualified (Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in subject area, certification is preferred), have a positive approach to interactions with students and colleagues, a willingness to integrate available technologies and the ability to function independently as well as collaboratively in teams. Prior experience teaching in the U.S. preferred.  Appropriate Islamic ideas, tenets and concepts are expected to be integrated throughout the curricula.
