Welcome to Al-Ihsan Academy, an full time islamic school located on the Dearborn/ Detroit border in the Islamic Center of Detroit! Our highly qualified staff offers instruction in the core academic areas (Language Arts, Science, Math and Social Studies) as well as Quran, Arabic and Islamic Studies to students in grades K to 8th grade.

Wish ListIlhamdulillah student instruction at Al-Ihsan is engaging and interesting. However, there is always a need for additional resources to achieve even better instruction. Here are a few of our wish list items: 1. DVD players (visual learning in all subject areas) 2. CD players (Quran and English/Language Arts) 3. Set of Arabic Die Cuts (Arabic flash cards, signs and other instructional materials for Arabic, Quran and Islamic Studies) -- $1680 4. Laminating machine (to create and protect instructional materials), approx. $2000 ( example laminator) 5. New or gently used toys/gifts for student rewards and incentives (dollar store ok) 6. Sponsorship for professional development for staff to attend the ISNA Education Forum for Muslim Educators ($85 conference fee, $25-$50 sponsorship for travel & lodging). ISNA Education Forum
