New Squared mug design

~Squared Mugs I threw these mug on my kick wheel. After trimming thick rims into the bottom and the top of the mugs, I pressed my "Square" design into the the outside of the mugs. I added pulled handles and 4 feet to the bottoms of the mugs. They were then dried and bisque fired. After the first firing, I glazed each one (yes, each one :P ) of the squares in a glossy black. The inside of the mugs were each glazed in a different glaze, along with the handles and bottoms of the mugs. They were then refired. Food Safe/ Microwave Safe! Each mug holds a bit over 12oz

Very strong coffee.

Some French press coffee I made for working on my dissertation yesterday. I brewed it so strongly that the froth on top almost looks like espresso. I got writing done; gained clarity on where the study is going; and best of all, I can see the end on my draft in sight. I officially salute and thank all my caffeine.
