Alexina of Shoreham

Welcome to the web site for Helen, Peter and Tiger on board Alexina of Shoreham. This is a website about living and sailing aboard our sailing yacht

We left Falmouth, Cornwall in 2004 and travelled throught the French canals to the Mediterranean. Six years later we left to cross the Atlantic having done a grand tour of the Mediterranean as far as Israel and Egypt to the East, Istanbul and the Black Sea to the North. We stopped off at Madeira, the Canaries and Cape Verdes on our Atlantic crossing and are now exploring the Caribbean and USA.

Where are we?

We have kept journals since departing.   Here is our latest update or you can click on the links below to read others.

Or take at look at our chums websites.

Our sailing boat is a Nicholson 38, built in 1969.

She is a 38ft ketch, built by Camper and Nicholson at their yard in Gosport.  Now well past her 40th birthday, she is doing very well, having been constantly updated with the latest technology.  Nicholson 38 owners now have their own web site and discussion board.  Visit www.nicholson38.org.

Find out about Alexina's history, take a 360 DegreeTour, or look at her  Line Drawings.
