Welcome to AUMC!

What is Grace?

Grace is God's unmerited favor. That is, grace is God doing good for us that we do not deserve. In the Bible, grace and mercy are like two heads of the same coin. Mercy is God withholding judgment or evil that I deserve; grace is God giving me blessing or good that I do not deserve. Because of God's mercy, I do not receive the judgment of God against my sins; because of God's grace, I receive eternal life and a promise of heaven though I do not deserve them. Both mercy and grace come to me through the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace can also be  defined as God's sufficiency or God's fullness in the life of the believer. God told Paul, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Ephesians 2:8 states, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God."

Do you know who Jesus is?

Do you realize that God loved all of us so much that he came to earth as a man to learn how to relate to us and was mistreated, humiliated, beaten, laughed at, and... yet had compassion, respect, patience, understanding for our downfalls as humans.

You may be wondering why have two websites for the same church?
Google, as you may know, has been a major competitor to the world of technology.
Along with this technology, it has made available many useful and usually free services and tools that are designed by  Google  and also combined them to make them user friendly. It has acquired many companies that work together to make their company and their partnerships a major player in the internet world. We choose to embrace these and use them to our advantage and not change their basic elements. You will see many changes in both websites as a result. These changes will be instant so check back often and thanks for your understanding.
Thanks Google!
