What a blessed gift God has given each of us this past Cursillo year.  12 men and 19 women have just completed their Cursillo weekends, and for those of you that were able to attend the Cursillo folow-up reunion on November 15th, all I can say is WOW!

The Holy Spirit was present in each one of us and in the sharing by those that gave their talk about other ministries that they are involved with in our Diocese and how Cursillo impacted their lives.

I would again ask each of you, to reach out to those men and women that just completed their weekend and invite them to an Ultreya, and offer to help them get involved with grouping partner(s).  If these individuals attend your church, talk to them about other ministries that you may be involved in to share areas of interest that may lead to helping them on their 4th day.

Much thanks to all of you who helped behind the scenes, and up front to get these weekends planned, and organized.

Our next Secretariat meeting is Saturday January 17th at 9:30am at Church of Holy Cross in Warrensburg.  We have much to discuss so please put this date on your calendar and invite others to come to these meetings.  A agenda will be sent out as we get closer to this date.

I would ask each of you to begin now by praying who God would like us to ask to come to a Cursillo weekend in 2009.  Our 2009 Cursillo weekend dates at CtK Spiritual Life Center are already set and have been confirmed.

Men's Cursillo Weekend Thursday October 29th,  - Sunday November 1st, 2009

Women's Cursillo Weekend Thursday November 12th,  - Sunday November 15th, 2009

Follow-up reunion date and location yet to be determined.
