I enclose completed finance forms.  As household bills still require to be paid I enclose a breakdown of expenditure together with relevant documentation and request that these commitments be specifically taken into account as per the Government's (Health, Social Services & Public Safety) Guidance on charging for residential accommodation (May 2006) - relevant paragraph 3.011 as follows:-


3.011 Income Support/Pension Credit and Housing Benefit may not meet the full cost of continuing home commitments.  Where there are extra costs, disregard such additional amount as appears reasonable.   Extra costs MIGHT BE:

 

  • a fixed heating charge
  • mortgage payment or rent not met by IS/HB
  • service charges not met by IS/HB
  • insurance premiums
