THANKS TO ALL FOR MAKING THE EVENT A GREAT SUCCESS!

Check this website for postings on Alamosa, Colorado's 2009 celebration of San Luis Valley art, music, spoken word, and performance--the 7th Annual Downtown Alamosa ArtWalk, Saturday, March 28, 10 AM - 5 PM,
at 30 locations.

Art displays and demos include painting, prints, photography, pottery, fiber arts, sculpture, stained glass, and more. Many artists are on hand throughout the day to talk about their work.

The day begins with a Special Art Train, champagne brunch and live music hosted by Rio Grande Scenic Railroad. Departs 9 AM. Reservations are $25.

Live music, spoken word, a children's play, belly dance and other performances throughout downtown fill the schedule. Taste the richness of our Valley at 10 local foods samplings and learn more about our SLV producers.

Get your program stamped at 12 or more event locations and enter the prize drawing for a $200 art gift certificate sponsored by 1st SouthWest Bank. Drawing at 5 PM at the San Luis Valley Brewing Company, 631 Main.

An event program and map will be available 1 week in advance in historic downtown Alamosa stores and restaurants. All locations are walking distance from Main Street.
