Welcome to the Alabama State Department of Education Race to the Top Google Site.  Beginning today, through June 1, 2010, all drafts of each section of our Race to the Top application will be posted on this site under the draft library heading.  The first entry is the USDOE Race to the Top Executive Summary where the requirements for the grant and scoring rubric are explained.  It will be most helpful to familiarize yourself with this document prior to reviewing the drafts of each section. 

 

As each document is placed in the draft library a post under RTTT Updates will be added with an overview of the draft and any clarifying information.  For members of the Education Reform and Innovation Council (ERIC), an email will be sent to you each time there is any update to the draft library.  Anyone accessing this site will be able to review the draft documents and post comments that will be used in the ongoing revision of the application. 

 

We look forward to a working in this new technological environment as we pursue Phase II of Race to the Top.
