1. Title: PRACE/LinkSCEEM-2 2011 Winter School Advanced Training Workshop, Cyprus Institute, Nicosia - Cyprus.
Description: Advanced High Performance Computing (HPC)
Training on advanced topics such as programming models and optimization
techniques, specifics on MPI/OpenMP and hybrid programming, optimization and
profiling.
Duration: 24-27 January 2011.
2. Title: Joint HP-SEE, LinkSCEEM-2 and PRACE HPC Summer Training 2011, Hellenic Telecommunications Organization(OTE Academy), Athens, Greece.
Description: The content consists of lectures and hands-on sessions in the field of HPC usage for multi-disciplinary scientific research communities with the focus on parallel programming methods, performance analysis tools and code optimization. The lectures will be given by accredited PRACE, HP-SEE and LinkSCEEM trainers and experts in the HPC field.
Duration: 13-15 July 2011.
3. Title: Joint SESAME-LinkSCEEM2 Summer School, SESAME, Amman, Jordan.
Description: Synchrotron-light for Experimental Science and Applications in the Middle East (SESAME), European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) and the Computation-based Science and Technology Research Center (CaSToRC) of the Cyprus Institute (CyI) are organizing jointly the first Joint Summer School within the LinkSCEEM-2 project, that will be held at SESAME in Amman - Jordan. The school aims to enhance the knowledge of current HPC users, and to engage new user communities in the use of HPC infrastructure in synchrotron related research..
Duration: 17-19 July, 2011.
