Teacher of the Year awards (TOY) - These state level awards are given at the elementary, middle, and high school level for Physical Education, as well as Health, Dance, and Adapted Physical Education.  Eligibility requirements and application can be found at the bottom of this page in the attachments.

Christa Hayes named 2010 Northwest District Elementary Physical Education Teacher of the Year!  

She was among 6 District Teachers of the Year recognized in March, 2011 in San Diego!  We are proud to have her
representing the great state of Alaska with her quality physical education teaching!  She will be presenting at the National Convention in Boston, 2012!
