Welcome! Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Physics at Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi. I received the B.Sc. degree from Deen Dayal Upadhayay Gorakhpur University (DDUGU), Gorakhpur, India in 2002, the M.Sc. degree from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR), India in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree (Large-mode-area rectangular optical waveguides and fibres) from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India in 2009.  I worked as a post doctoral fellow at Gwangju Institute of Science & Technology (GIST), South Korea. My current research interests are:

      • Photonic crystal waveguide and fiber

      • Nonlinear fiber optics

      • Fiber optic sensors

      • Long period waveguide and fiber gratings
