Welcome! Currently, I am working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Physics at Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi. I received the B.Sc. degree from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University (DDUGU), Gorakhpur, India, in 2002, the M.Sc. degree from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR), India, in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree (Large-mode-area rectangular optical waveguides and fibers) from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India in 2009.  I worked as a post-doctoral fellow at Gwangju Institute of Science & Technology (GIST), South Korea. My current research interests are:

      • Photonic crystal waveguide and fiber

      • Nonlinear fiber optics

      • Fiber optic sensors

      • Long-period waveguide and fiber gratings
