RIGHT ANGLE CORDLESS DRILLS : IMPACT WRENCH USES Right Angle Cordless Drills
IMG 1613.JPG NOW we're talking. That's a 1/2" Ti-coated bit, almost the biggest thing my cordless drill can handle. I had to run into the house to get the other battery, and charge up the first. Once I did, it had plenty of power to drill in, which surprised me, and made me kind of feel these handle pieces are made of some hard aluminum. They weren't very easy to drill, but still felt not much more difficult than some good, strong Al. This is also a good place to explain the problem. I thought there was a dividing wall inside this hole, separating the outside world from the shaft this outer cylinder I'm drilling through is stuck on. It turns out that the handle cylinder was actually open all the way through, so all this drilling was simply damaging the shaft the handle slips onto. I could have simply used the gear puller right after grinding the grooves. Sigh... 223: Rome wasn't built in a day
At quitting time last night (as dictated by the David), nothing was going right. The planned tube-ramps were too skinny for Clementine's pudgy hedgehog butt, the new custom made bucket wheel was rolling off center, the shelving boards kept splitting, the saw was cutting at funky angles instead of on the square, the cordless drill had run out of juice, and my socks were covered in sawdust, and on and on it goes.
