This compressor was manufactured by the Rand Drill Company located in New York. The “Rand Drill Company” was formed in 1872 as the “Rand & Waring Drill and Compressor Company.” They then changed their name to the “Rand Drill Company” in 1879. Later, in 1905, they merged with the “Ingersoll-Sergeant Drill Co.” to form the company we now know as “Ingersoll-Rand.”
