Trevi Shower Valves

(Shower Valve) The part of the shower that controls water flow and temperature.

Trevi is the rione II of Rome. The origin of its name is not clear, but the most accepted possibility is that it comes from the Latin trivium (meaning "three streets"), because there were three streets all leading to "piazza dei Crociferi", a square next to the modern Trevi square.

TREVI was an intergovernmental network - or forum - of national officials from ministries of justice and the interior in the European Community created during the European Council Summit in Rome, 1–2 December 1975.

Trevi (Latin: Trebiae) is an ancient town and comune in Umbria, Italy, on the lower flank of Monte Serano overlooking the wide plain of the Clitunno river system. It is 10 km (6 mi) SSE of Foligno and 20 km (12 mi) north of Spoleto.

Maintenance please

It's a bit hard to tell, but all three of the ridges on the valve (which would have allowed easier turning) are chipped or broken. Before the valve recently wore down as to be useless (I found it this way), it wasn't particularly easy to turn. You could hurt your hand if you did it wrong.

Shower-side valve

Removed the casting. Shower/tub valve stem is below the main water mixer valve stem.
