Mecair Diaphragm Valve

Diaphragm valves (or membrane valves) consists of a valve body with two or more ports, a diaphragm, and a "saddle" or seat upon which the diaphragm closes the valve. The valve is constructed from either plastic or steel.

A valve with a flexible linear motion CLOSURE MEMBER that is forced into the internal flow passageway of the BODY by the ACTUATOR. Pinch or Clamp valves and Weir-type valves fall into this category.

A device consisting essentially of an automatic valve actuated by means of the application of fuel pressure upon a flexible diaphragm.

Recirculating valve

This valve reacts on vacuum in inlet. Closing the throttle while the supercharger is turning produces very low pressures in front of it. This vacuum(or rather lack of pressure) on one side of a diaphragm opens the valve and vents the air from the supercharger outlet back in front of the supercharger inlet. This means the engine is not beeing boosted unless you want it to... (by operating the throttle)

dead pressure regulator

this thing controls a diaphragm valve on our filter. It failed and rendered the machine inoperable. 20,000 gallons of chardonnay can't be bottled until this machine is fixed. Bummer.
