The Thornlie College is situated in the Southern suburbs of Perth. It commenced in 1989 and the technological center was built and opened in 1994. The College has up to 29 classrooms, including 2 fully equipped computer laboratories and an ESL class for all new arrival and non- English speaking students. The College also has a big meeting room for the staff and a canteen providing healthy and yummy foods. There are two separate play grounds; one for primary and another separate for kindergarten and pre-primary students. There are 2 basketball courts and an oval, plus an undercover area used for the daily assembly. The college also incorporates the Thornlie mosque, which is open to the general public. |
