What to Bring to Festival:
Thank you so much for your support in this year's Festival. In response to many questions that have been asked about the Festival, here are some essentials that students may want to bring to the Festival:
-
$20 (more or less, depending on age): The Fair Trade Marketplace usually has a lot of items available for sale, and many student clubs/organizations have merchandise that can be purchased in the Exhibit Hall. Additionally, the Bistro also provides a lot of delectable foods from around the world that can be purchased during the Festival.
-
Notebook and pen/pencil: Sure, you're not there to take notes, but many organizations have brochures, information and knowledgeable individuals who will be communicating with the students. Sticky notes work just fine too :)
-
An open mind: arguably one of the most important things you can bring to the Just World Festival. There is a lot to see, a lot to learn and a lot to enjoy. So come to the Festival enthusiastic to learn, and we guarantee you'll have a great time!

Arrival Times:
The festival is from 2:00 until 7:00 at Annandale High School. We understand that arrival time may vary. If you plan on arriving early, please note that when you register under group registration. A Just World Interact member will greet you at the front of the school and show you to Clausen Hall until the Exhibition Hall, World Cafe' and Fair Trade Marketplace open.
8th Grade Visitors GuideEven though the Just World Festival is aimed at a high-school audience, we welcome middle schoolers and community members to get involved with the sessions and Festival highlights. Here is one teacher's guide to the Festival experience, created by Patricia Heininge of Rachel Carson Middle School. Feel free to modify and redistribute as you see appropriate! | | |
