A cup of hot coffee
Experimenting with catching the wisp of steam from a cup of hot coffee! It is more difficult than I thought. Can you imagine taking a hundred shot to get this small wisp of steam!?! :o The secret is high aperture (5.6 to 8.0), fast shutter (1/60sec), tripod & a flash gun! Very important too... a black background. You then need to focus lock at approximately where the steam would rise. Then shoot away with continous shot. Setback : if you shoot at a wide aperture, you may have the bottom of the cup slight out of focus. Tell me! Is the small wisp of steam worth it? It's my learning curve... :P
Coffee Lover
A cup of coffee I bought on my way to Vigelands Park in Oslo one day to take some pics. I noticed the heartshaped foam on top of the hot beverage as I was paying for it, and immidiately put it down on the counter to shoot it. The girl behind the counter got a good giggle from it all too :P
