I have been tagged by Lin and Donna, but I hope that means I don't have to do this twice. I was told to post a photo of me, but no one said it had to be current. I think I must have been seven or eight years old in these shots. I am supposed to tag 6 more people. My apologies in advance if I choose you. Here are the 16 somewhat boring things about me. You don't have to read them all, honest. 1. I was born in London, England 2. I was an only child 3. I had white, blonde hair and still have a curl from my first haircut. 4. My parents and I emigrated to Canada when I was 10 years old. 5. I love this country but also love to visit England at every opportunity. 6. I have always loved drawing but only got into painting in the last 15 years or so. 7. I started teaching elementary school at age 19, and worked on my degree at night. 8. I have taught all the grades from 1 to 8, either as a classroom teacher, an art teacher or a teacher/librarian. 9. I love children's books and particularly the picture books. Illustration fascinates me. 10. I loved horseback riding and would ride at every opportunity. I was thrown quite a few times. That should have prepared me for cycling, but it didn't. I keep falling off the bike too. 11. I took skydiving lessons but froze when I stepped outside of the plane onto the strut at 2800 feet. Never jumped, but I really regret it. 12. I love British comedy and really enjoy a good laugh. 13. I love the company of friends, but value my time alone. 14. My husband said to mention that I am compulsive. What does he know? 15. I love art in all its forms and can spend days and days in a gallery. 16. I have no idea how much grey hair I have, and I will never never find out!
