Q:  How can I send email to the house?

In order to send a message to one of the lists below, the email you are sending from MUST be on one of the mailing lists below.  This is to prevent spam mail to the list.

Entire Fraternity (Actives, Boarders, Pledges, Advisors): ago@lists.berkeley.edu

Entire House (Actives, Boarders): ago_house@lists.berkeley.edu

Actives: ago_actives@lists.berkeley.edu

Boarders: ago_boarders@lists.berkeley.edu

Excomm: ago_excomm@lists.berkeley.edu

Pledges:ago_pledges@lists.berkeley.edu

Rushes:agorush@lists.berkeley.edu

Alum: ago_alum@lists.berkeley.edu

Boarder Alum: ago_boarder_alum@lists.berkeley.edu

NOTE: If you send email to the lists from email addresses other than the email listed on the roster, the message WILL BE BLOCKED BY THE SPAM FILTER.  If you would like to send email to the lists from multiple email addresses, ask the secretary to add any additional email addresses to the "ago_alt_email@lists.berkeley.edu" list.  Any additional emails added to this list will be able to send messages to any of the ago mailing lists (you should not send email to this list, it only exists to allow sending emails from additional email addresses).

Q:  How can I view the house calendars without a gmail account?

To view the public house calendar just follow the link from the home page.  To view the active calendar, you must type the address of the secret page into the address bar of your web browser.  There are no links to it for security purposes.  (ask the secretary what the address to the secret page is if you don't know it)

Q:  How do I import the public house calendar into my google calendar?

Click the link.

Q:  How can I import the active calendar into my google calendar or make changes to either the house or active  calendars?

All of these require that your gmail email address has been added to the "Share with specific people:" field under the calendar settings in the agobeta calendar account.  Contact the secretary and ask him to add your gmail to the calendars.

Once you have been added, you google calendar will give you the option of choosing which calendar you would like to post events to once you click the "create event" link.

Q:  How do I join the agobeta google group?

Type your gmail address below and the secretary will add you.

Q:  What are the Public House Rules that I should ALWAYS follow unless granted an official exception?
