Alpha Gamma Omega is the only Christ-Centered Fraternity at the University of California Berkeley campus.  We are actively involved in the Greek system, local churches, and the Cal community.   We own our own house about 3 blocks from campus where most of the active members live. Living at AGO is awesome.  Rent is about $650 a month and includes dinners prepared by a cook or a catering service, all utilities, food, high speed internet, laundry facilities, and an incredible community.  We also house boarders, who are not active members of the fraternity for varying reasons, but enjoy living in the house (i.e. they attend local community colleges instead of UC Berkeley, and are therefore ineligible for active status).

Fraternity Statement of Faith

Alpha Gamma Omega was founded [at UCLA in 1927] in order to spread a saving knowledge of our Lord, and as Christian young men, we subscribe to a common statement of faith:

"I hereby publicly confess my belief in the Lord Jesus Christ as God and only Savior and give witness to the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit in my life. I will make it a purpose of my life to continue in fellowship with God through prayer and the reading of the Holy Scriptures."
Fraternity Verse — II Timothy 2:15
"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman who needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

Here we receive the apostle Paul's advice on winning the approval of God. Paul was writing of the Gospel of a Crucified and Risen Lord. Our verse tells us to concentrate fervently on living and spreading the Gospel of Christ, so that we can stand before Him unashamed, having our works approved by Him.

"Fraternity for Eternity"

As men who put our faith in Christ Jesus, we believe that our fellowship is not broken by death. Rather, we are confident that we will worship the Lord together in His presence in the life to come!
