I have always wanted to do radio -- TV is all right, but I believe it can be much more relaxed and interesting to talk on air with people and play music, too. . . so I'm transitioning from TV to radio, my "real" calling -- or one I'm drawn to!

THE PREMISE:

FINDING BLISS with Lauren Agnelli is a show about people who are following their hearts. . .

Spoken Intro: Joseph Campbell once said, “Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls.”  Throughout my life, I have never failed to meet a continuous succession of interesting people who are shining examples of this, and of a life well lived (in MY mind, at least). "Finding Bliss" is a show about people who are following their hearts and living authentically.  They experience that universe where doors open and the walls vanish.  To know their story is to know the secret of life!  So let’s go – finding bliss.

Here is another project that I believe is part of my bliss -- figuring out what makes people tick and asking questions!  If you don’t know by now, I am a natural born interviewer!  So they're giving me a public access cable TV show here in Clinton, CT, and I'm calling it "FINDING BLISS with Lauren Agnelli."

Without my saying it, plenty of others attest that Finding Bliss isn’t a destination, it’s a journey.  These journeys – as documented here and on my FINDING BLISS television show – are never without their ups and downs, ins and outs.  Most of the people interviewed had a lot of false starts, setbacks, and unrelated life experiences along the way to “bliss.”

First of all, to define bliss for our purposes: living with the joy of doing what you are passionate about, have talents in, and love (most of the time, at least).  Imperfection rules my world and so, I’m not writing about people who walk around in a zombie-like state of unmitigated joy.  Ignorance is bliss?  Not in my book.

I stick to the belief that, if you are living authentically – “doing your thing” and even able to make a living out of it – then Joseph’s Campbell’s words ring true: “Follow your bliss, and the universe will open doors where there were only walls.”

FINDING BLISS started as an interview format show about people who are following their hearts and living authentically.  They experience that universe where doors open and the walls vanish.  To know their story is to know the secret to a happy (or happier) life.   That is, if you believe what's important in life is finding and following your true path, doing what you love -- and finding out how the rest will follow.

If you’re a guest on the show, I’ll ask you to talk about your passions in life and how you’re doing them, and talk about yourself and how you came to find your bliss.  Because I feel that your story is inspiring, I’d like to help share your message.  You will get your own copy of the show to use or distribute as you see fit – if you like the results.  We are working on making it a quality show.
After all, I'm asking YOU!

As public access is community oriented and non-commercial, we can highlight why the community benefits from having you in it.  The show will provide INDIRECT advertising for your livelihood & passions.  We can’t speak DIRECTLY about what you produce that’s for sale – but your website and contact info can be given in the credits at the end of the show.  AND, what we CAN and WILL do is talk ad infinitum about WHAT YOU DO, WHY YOU DO IT, HOW IT MAKES YOU FEEL and, most importantly, WHO YOU ARE!  I want to know what propels some people to go about Finding their Bliss (while others seem mired or stuck in a life they don’t really like, and can’t wait to “retire” or whatever).

Anyway -- I always find my bliss in writing, observing, making music.  And on a very basic level, I'm Finding Bliss in doing this show; in words and music; in coffee and kitties and good conversation.  I’m creative, versatile, highly resourceful – just like our guests on Finding Bliss.

NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE through VIMEO on the FINDING BLISS Channel!!  Every week, I can upload another episode.  Starting with the premier episode,
