March is Youth Art Month
 
To Celabrate Youth Art Month we will be holding our anual exhibit.  This year the theme is "Mini-Me".  Forms will be sent home in February.  Students should create an original self-portrait no larger than 4"x6" and submit it with the form to either art teacher by February 25th.  The art will be on display for the month of March and March 4th we will hold an opening reception for particpants in the art room from 8-8:30 AM.

District Wide Art Show
 
This year Avon Grove School District will hold its third annual District Wide Art Show.  The show has been an amazing success in the past and we look forward to another awesome year.  Selected student work from all Avon Grove schools will be on display.  AGIS will be sending a few artworks from each homeroom to the show.  The show will be held May 23-24 from 6-7:30 PM in the high school gymnasium.  Plan on attending this fun for all ages event.
