Welcome to my personal site! I recently obtained a PhD in social psychology from Yale University. My dissertation research examined the stigma of non-native accents. I am still very much involved in this research, too passionate to let it go. As a result, I created a website devoted to accents, Human Accents. I hope it will serve as a hub for all accent related information and research. My passion for the applied aspects of my dissertation work was a major drive in my decision to set up a small consulting company, Parlez Consulting, which specializes in intercultural communication. I help both non-native and native English speakers communicate more effectively with each other. I am also involved in several other projects at this time. I continue to write, and now that I am finished with my dissertation, I am hoping to start expanding on some of the ideas that are hidden somewhere in a folder called "writing ideas." I also work as an associate for a management consulting company, Organizational Design and Development Associates. I try to find some time to catch up on and enjoy my hobbies, especially travel, photography, and outdoor sports. I am currently working on overhauling this website and moving it to a new location.
