I'm actually about to make soup and grilled cheese for mi madre and I. I really wan't FTSK's new album, "The Weekend"! It sounds awesome, from what I've heard. I'm wearing my comfy fuzzy socks in this picture. Fun! I forgot I was wearing them today, then got all excited when I took my boots off to shoot this. Boarders Weekend Activities
The boarding students had a fun weekend on the Upper School campus. On October 24, they learned how to make Maki-zushi with Modern Language teachers Mami Takeda and Anna Zhao. They cut up vegetables, mixed tuna with mayo and helped Mami cook thin omelets. Each student was given a rolling mat, a seaweed sheet and sushi rice to make their own rolls. Some showed off their mastery skills with beautiful creations. On October 25, the boarders returned to campus to play games and relax in the Fieldhouse.
