This is one of the red wolves at the Chattanooga Nature Center. Here's information about the wolves from their website: Only 38 centers in the world have one of North America’s most endangered animals, the Red Wolf. There are approximately 300 left living in nature centers, zoos and free roaming in a closely monitored 1.5 million acres in Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge, North Carolina. At CNC, we have 2 breeding pair of Red Wolves that are part of the Species Survival Plan (SSP).
