Morning all! Hope we are well!? Had a pretty fulfilling day yesterday, got a lot done! Was at the library for 10 and met up with my group, five of us, to start our presentation for Monday. We've got to put together a six slide, clean and concise powerpoint together about the German architectural firm 'kada wittfeld architektur' from using off-line resources, books, journals etc... i'd definitely recommend googling the firm as its really interesting and they've got some pretty sweet buildings to their names. Trouble is, they're a pretty new company so theres a distinct lack of literature on their work compared to say, a 19th Century Architect which some other groups may have, oh well! Like a challenge. Have to say, I didn't realise quite HOW many books there are on Architecture in the Library, probably in the thousands, I also found the photography section and will probably start taking some of those out as well over the hols perhaps, much cheaper than buying them! They als had journals which are cool too. At lunch time I took a break from it to go pick up my contact lenses and grab a spot of lunch. On the way I found a tiny camera shop i'd never seen before, they mainly sell film cameras and older kit but they also had some modern bodies and lenses. I was having a nosy and the man in the photo came over asking if I wanted to try any of the lenses, so I thought I may as well take the opportunity and put a sigma 30mm 1.4 on. He said I could take some photos round the shop with it if I liked, and so I did! Its such a rapid lens! This was a dingy shop and I didn't need a tripod at all! Very nice, but I guess dream on! I then went to the opticians, had a quick eye exam to double check my eyes were ok and then received my lenses. I had a training session, and they were SO much better than specsavers were before I came, the lady taught me a really simple way and I'd grasped it in about 10 mins! Annoyingly I had pretty long nails and managed to scratch my eye, but no rea problem, just a sore eye for half an hour or so. Wore them the rest of the day and managed to get them out ok last night, hopefully i'll be able to get them in this morn too... Studio from 9-12 today for technical drawing and then back to library for the afternoon to try and finish our powerpoint, i'm then going to go to a photography society meeting tonight for some Light Painting which should be fun! Going to join as well I reckon. Looking forward to it! Have a good Weds all! Hit 'L'

my husband's Oakleys. He was wearing them at the time of the accident, but somehow they survived with just a skim coating of blood on them. Last week he started putting his contact lenses in, so I got these out of the garage and cleaned them off for him.
