Ministries

Our goal is to see your kids connect with God, connect to others their age, connect to age-appropriate ministries, and connect to unique opportunities for being the hands & feet of Jesus ... we call that missions.

To help your children connect with God, one of our greeters can direct you to a special bulletin that goes along with our sermon for that day.  These fun-packed bulletins provide stimulating exercises that help children engage & apply the message of that day.  We also understand that some kids are not quite ready to enter the main worship service for an hour.  With that in mind, we provide a nursery for babies.   All of our nursery workers absolutely adore babies and display that love with their nurture & teaching. We also have Children's Church for toddlers up to the age of 5.  This service is geared specifically for little guys & gals and includes lots of Scripture, exercise, & fun.

Your children will love connecting with other children their ages.  We make this possible through multiple opportunities like: AWANA clubs, Sunday School classes, Cub Scouts, & Girl Scouts.  Each of these classes are age appropriate & designed to help children interact with kids their own age.

It would be awesome to see your child connect with ministry too.  This is done through our Children's Choir and through our Scouting Ministries.  We provide opportunities for our kids to minister to our community throughout the year through these unique ministry tools.

Ultimately, we provide a great way for your little guy or girl to connect with missions during our annual VBS (Vacation Bible School).  This is a yearly thematic event that enables your children & other community children to be introduced to Christ during a week long adventure that is jammed-packed with God's amazing truth found in Jesus Christ.

As an adult, you are encouraged to become ‘connected’ at First Baptist Church of Ludlow.  Like everyone, we first invite you get connected to God through one of our three weekly worship services.  It is during these times that we pray, fellowship, study, sing, & proclaim the truths of God found in Jesus Christ.  In addition, we would love to see you get connect to others through small group opportunities like Sunday School, Adult Bible Fellowships,  or interest activities like volleyball & softball.  We also believe that a critical part of your faith journey must include getting connected to ministry.  For example, you might assist us by filling a need as a teacher, worker, volunteer, leader, greeter, or prayer warrior.  Last but not least and since our spiritual development is always continuing, we encourage all our fellowship to becomeconnected to missions.  Missions might include a trip to other areas sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.  Sometimes this is seen providing meals for those less fortunate in our own area.  Missions could also include financially supporting one of these efforts with a special offering gift.

So, how about it?  Are you connected?   Would you like to be?  If so, contact our Pastor, Paul Anglin at  paul@fbcludlow.org .

Our Student Ministries are growing!  By that we mean, growing spiritually, physically, mentally, & numerically.

We encourage our teens to connect with God alongside their families in one of our three worship services.  Our pastor does his best to present a clear biblical message in a way that your teen will understand & enjoy.

We provide three unique opportunities for teens to connect with other teens their age.  The first is called AfterShock and this ministry targets grades 7-8.  They meet in the youth wing on our campus every Wednesday evening at 7 pm.  The second is called Elev8.  This ministry targets grades 9-12. They also meet in the youth wing but their meeting time is every Sunday evening at 6 pm.  The third opportunity includes several yearly off-campus events (Summer Camp in Louisville, Winter Retreat in Gatlinburg, Christian Concerts, & NKU Baptist Campus ministries.

We have several ways that our teens connect to ministry.  Many of our teens assist us as servers during fellowship meals, daycare assistants, teaching opportunities for high school student leaders, Church media/marketing/design, & as greeters during our main worship services.
I hope to see you here for a sunday and wedesday!
